Navi Johnson is a dynamic
teen who graduated from Saint Gertrude High School in Richmond, VA. She is a
spirited writer who speaks the language of urban teens with compelling stories
that reveal their thoughts and dreams.
Navi is CEO of Navi Johnson Incorporated, an upstart publishing company focused
on teen works and motivational books that inspire and entertain. She not only
publishes her own books but coaches others through writing projects. An
entrepreneur to the core, this isn’t her first business endeavor. When Navi was
10 years old, she made and sold pillows that she constructed from sweaters that
she had outgrown. This lasted for about 2 years, until the writing “bug” took
over and started to consume most of her free time.
In addition to writing, Navi is a jazz pianist who enjoys theater projects and
was a member of the Stuart Avenue Players. She also loves writing poetry and
collecting jewelry.
Navi resides in Richmond with her mother, two brothers, Nyles and Noah, her
grandfather, and dog, Waffles. She is a student at Virginia State University,
majoring in English.
